iClub - Interactive menu for restaurants on tablets

In 2013, I joined a small team to work in the development of a new app. The goal was to create an app that would serve as a restaurant menu, where you could search through the different dishes, place your order and finally pay the service, all through a tablet on your table.

When I was brought aboard the project, the team had an initial mockup to show the general idea and functions of the app. My job was to take this and improve upon it.
The user could create an account, so they could collect points by buying in affiliated restaurants
The user could see edit his profile, edit the app's settings or search the menu of the restaurant

My first draft aimed to clean up the screen and order all the relevant elements.

Taking inspiration from the color scheme of the official company logo (not designed by me), I polished my initial approach to better fit the requirements of the team. Mixing a skeuomorphism and a simplified approach, I developed a particular style hoping to bring a familiar interface to ease the transition between traditional waiter-service and self-service, particularly to older users unaccustomed to tactile and digital environments.
I had to create the different interface elements from scratch, fun stuff
